Georgetown and Conference Foes Schedule for 2024–25 Released by BIG EAST.

September 16, 2024

The BIG EAST Conference has officially released the 2024–25 men’s basketball schedule, outlining a competitive season for Georgetown and its conference foes. Georgetown’s season kicks off with a non-conference game against Lehigh on November 6, 2024, at McDonough Arena, followed by several other early-season matchups before conference play begins.

Georgetown’s first BIG EAST game is scheduled for December 18, 2024, when they host Creighton at home. Their conference journey includes other significant matchups, such as a road game against Seton Hall on December 22. In January, the Hoyas will face UConn on January 11 at home, one of their key rivals in the conference. On January 20, 2025, Georgetown will take on Villanova on the road in a highly anticipated Martin Luther King Jr. Day matchup.

Throughout the season, Georgetown will face each of the BIG EAST teams at least twice, including marquee matchups against top-performing programs like Marquette and Xavier. They will close the regular season on March 8, 2025, with an away game against DePaul. The regular season will be packed with intense competition, as teams like UConn, Creighton, and Marquette are coming off strong NCAA tournament runs.

The BIG EAST conference has consistently been one of the toughest leagues in Division I, sending multiple teams to the NCAA tournament every year.  Last season, UConn won the national championship, while Marquette and Creighton reached the Sweet 16. The upcoming season is expected to be just as competitive, with Georgetown looking to improve on its past performance under new leadership.

Fans can follow the BIG EAST games on FOX, FS1, and other platforms, with select games also available on the BIG EAST Digital Network.
