San Francisco Giants broadcasters Mike Krukow, 71, and Duane Kuiper, 73, have expressed their intention to continue calling games for as long as possible. Despite health challenges—Kuiper’s battle with cancer in 2021 and Krukow’s diagnosis of inclusion body myositis (IBM) in 2014—the duo remains committed to their roles. Krukow stated, “We’ll go as long as we can.”

In 2025, their broadcasting schedule reflects their dedication: they will cover all home games, with Krukow joining select road games remotely from San Francisco. This arrangement ensures fans continue to enjoy their insightful commentary throughout the season.

Their enduring partnership has earned them recognition as one of baseball’s most beloved broadcast teams. In 2023, they secured the top spot in local MLB broadcaster rankings, reflecting their popularity among fans.

Fans continue to appreciate their unique chemistry and dedication, often expressing sentiments like, “I often question whether it’s baseball that I like or if it’s just listening to Kruk and Kuip that I actually enjoy.”
