Blue News: Tyrese Proctor announce his commitment with Dallas mavericks ….

As of March 6, 2025, there is no public information confirming that Tyrese Proctor has committed to the Dallas Mavericks. Proctor, a 6-foot-5 guard from Sydney, Australia, currently plays for the Duke Blue Devils. In June 2022, he announced his decision to reclassify from the 2023 to the 2022 recruiting class, joining Duke for the 2022-23 season.

Throughout his time at Duke, Proctor has made significant contributions. In his sophomore season, he averaged 11.8 points per game, with a 40.8% shooting rate from three-point range. However, he recently sustained a bone bruise in his knee during a game against Miami and was sidelined for the subsequent matchup against Florida State.

Prior to his college career, Proctor gained recognition as a top Australian prospect. At the Australian Under-20 Championships in 2021, he averaged 13.8 points and 4.4 assists per game. He also represented the World Team at the 2022 Nike Hoop Summit, facing fellow Duke signees Kyle Filipowski, Dereck Lively II, and Dariq Whitehead.

Given his current engagement with Duke, there is no evidence to suggest that Proctor has made any commitments to the Dallas Mavericks or any other NBA team at this time.
