Oklahoma and South Carolina Softball Series Adjusted Due to…

NORMAN — This weekend’s Oklahoma and South Carolina softball series has been adjusted due to forecasted inclement weather Saturday in Norman.

OU and South Carolina will play game one of the series Friday, March 7 at 6:30 p.m. CT as scheduled, while Sunday, March 9 will now feature a doubleheader. Game one of Sunday’s doubleheader will begin at 1:30 p.m. and game two will begin approximately 40 minutes after the conclusion of the first game. Game two will serve in place of the contest originally scheduled for Saturday, March 8 at 2 p.m.

Fans who purchased tickets for the contest originally scheduled for Saturday, March 8 will be accepted for entry to the second game Sunday. Fans will not be able to scan their tickets for entry to that game until the stadium has been completely cleared following the conclusion of the 1:30 p.m. game.

All fans, including those who have purchased tickets to both games on Sunday, must exit the stadium following the conclusion of game one. Fans who attended game one and are returning for game two will not be able to re-enter with food or drink purchased during the first game.

Fans who can no longer attend the rescheduled Sunday game must reach out to the original point of purchase for a refund or solution. Any single-game standing-room-only tickets for Saturday’s game that were purchased through the Oklahoma Athletics Ticket Office may be exchanged for a future game or can be refunded by emailing or calling 405-325-2424.

Season ticket holders who can no longer attend games this weekend are encouraged to ensure their seats are still filled by transferring tickets, returning their seats back to OU or selling their seats through OU’s Seat Share program. More information on how to do this is available at

The first and third games of the series will be streamed on SECN+, while the 1:30 p.m. game on Sunday will be broadcasted on SECN. Michele Smith will provide color commentary and Clay Matvick will provided play-by-play for the SEC Network broadcast Sunday and the SECN+ stream in the series finale. Radio coverage for each game will be provided on 1560 AM/103.3 FM The Franchise 2 and 107.7 FM The Franchise.
