Tonka Hemingway The Untold Story (part1)……
Pro Football Focus (PFF) recently released their list of the Highest Graded Returning SEC Defensive Tackles, and Gamecock star Tonka Hemingway finds himself third on the list.
PFF is a well-respected analytics company that evaluates and grades the performance of football players at both the collegiate and professional levels. Their rankings are highly regarded and provide valuable insights into player performance and potential.
Last year, Hemingway put up impressive stats, recording 32 total tackles, 19 solo tackles, 13 assists, and 1.5 sacks. He made some big plays for the Gamecocks in key moments, helping to anchor the defensive front.
The Gamecocks have a loaded room of tackles, including projected first-round pick TJ Sanders and Alex Huntley, who will certainly be considered a draft prospect in the upcoming draft. Additionally, the Gamecocks bolstered their defensive line through the transfer portal by adding DeAndre Jules, one of the top prospects available, along with Alabama transfer Monkell Goodwine.
Despite all these talented names, Hemingway is the standout. He is considered the leader of the group and is poised to have a great year. His consistent performance has not gone unnoticed, as evidenced by his high ranking by PFF.
Hemingway’s PFF 2023 ranking is 79.7, tying him for third with Texas McKinnley Jackson and placing him behind Kentucky’s Deone Walker and Florida’s transfer Joey Slackman.
With his consistent performance and leadership, Hemingway is set to be a key player for the Gamecocks this season. His high ranking by PFF reflects his significant impact on the field and underscores the importance of his role in the Gamecocks’ defense.

Detroit lions pull off stunning Acquisition signing 5 star wide Receiver ceeDee Lamb form Dellas Cowboys in Blockbuster Deal to Bolstar offense….
As it stands, the Dallas Cowboys and wide receiver CeeDee Lamb haven’t reached an agreement on the latter’s contract. If things go south, thouh, the Detroit Lions can swoop in and acquire the NFL star in an interesting trade idea.
Jones acknowledged that he got in “trouble” for saying the team was not “urgent” about getting Lamb’s deal done, but clarified that it’s not about undervaluing the player.
Detroit has both the cap space and a certain role for Lamb to thrive in. If Dallas messes things up with the superstar wide receiver, expect the Lions to keep an eye on the situation and make the most of it if needed.
Rather, the Cowboys want to be cautious about exposing key starters like Lamb to injury risk during preseason practices. Jones emphasized that Lamb’s contract situation is not putting any “pressure” on the team, and they plan to extend an offer in the coming days to finalize the deal before the 2024 season.
American Most popular, well-known and Prominent Player, Davante Adams Chooses the Clemson tigers over Georgia bulldogs, Miami Dolphins and Others…
There is a reason that people call the practice of analyzing athlete trade rumors “the silly season.”
Once social media came along, the process of “reading the tea leaves” grew exponentially. Oakland Raiders wide receiver Davante Adams knows that, as he’s having a whole lot of fun with all the trade winds swirling around him.
Once he posted a photo of legendary American poet Edgar Allen Poe in his Instagram stories, the NFL world was off and running, hypothesizing that this post was a clear signal that Adams was set to join the Baltimore Ravens.
While only Adams knows for sure what the true motivation is/was behind posting the photo of Poe on IG, one has to believe that he was intentionally stirring the pot.
While this Instagram Stories post received extensive media coverage, his next post received significantly less attention.
Adams treated his followers (and all of the media with their eyes fixed on him) to the famous Poe quote: “Believe nothing that you hear and half of what you see.”
This post is, arguably, equal in importance to the first one, and by making it, Adams is basically telling his followers to take the direct interpretation of his first post and now negate it.
If post #1 said, “I’m joining the Ravens,” then this post tells you, “Everything you have been reading about this situation is wrong. Nothing is decided yet.”
It’s all an epic troll job.
Or we are all just getting super meta right now when analyzing the data. Does the falling tree in the forest actually make a sound if no one is around to hear it?
Either way, whether he comes to Baltimore or not. We do know that if attention was Adams’s ultimate goal, he certainly achieved it.
Top Best 5-Star QB Gregory Patrick Shocks the College Football World, Decommits from Penn State, Chooses Indiana Hoosiers Over Alabama And Auburn…
Indiana is garnering a lot of respect from the Vegas oddsmakers as only a 6 point underdog.
Let’s face it, this line STINKS.
Indiana is solid, coming off an 8-4 2019 campaign, however, it is the situation that presents the biggest challenge to the Nittany Lions. This is a classic James Franklin, “bring your own juice” kind of game. It’s the season opener, no fans, and oh, those pesky Buckeyes await in a week two, primetime showdown on Halloween night.
These are not your father’s Hoosiers. This is as deep and talented a team IU has ever fielded. Returning eight starters from an offense that averaged 32 ppg last season will present challenges for Penn State. A slow start from Penn State Football and allowing the Hoosiers to stick around late into the 2nd half could be dangerous. However, I think the Nittany Lions are to talented, and too deep on both sides of the ball to be tripped up here. The Penn State offensive line should be Franklin’s best ever, and expect sophomore back Noah Cain to run all over the Hoosiers.

BREAKING NEWS: Kentucky jumps in the latest AP top 25 women’s basketball poll.
The battle between No. 1 Auburn and No. 2 Alabama headlined a week which was guaranteed to shake up the AP Poll Top 25 again after a thrilling slate of games. The top-ranked matchup delivered, setting teams up to battle for their spot.
Auburn held serve and kept its spot at No. 1, and created more separation at the top of college basketball with just a month left in the regular season before conference tournaments and the NCAA Tournament begin.
After seeing Alabama fall short at home, here is a predictive look at what the 2024-25 AP Poll Top 25 could look like on Monday.
Auburn settled the debate of which team should hold the No. 1 spot in the updated AP Poll Top 25, knocking off Alabama on the road after picking up a midweek win in SEC play to keep hold of the lead in the SEC title race and create separation up top.
Duke regained its form this week, picking up a pair of convincing wins against California and Stanford. They now see if they can break the tie against Florida, or if they will have enough on the resume to hold serve and push Alabama further down.
- 4. Alabama (Last Week: 2)
Alabama took care of business in the midweek to set up the anticipated No. 1 vs. No. 2 matchup against Auburn but took a home loss which should not set them back too far based on their overall resume and the strength of competition.
Breaking: Netflix reportedly set to Premier a SEC documentary that will feature Georgia Bulldogs
An exciting new documentary has been announced by Netflix that will reportedly follow the 2024 SEC football season. Upon seeing this news, it was impossible for Georgia football fans to not be extremely excited.
Kirby Smart and the Bulldogs participated in many of the biggest games of the season including their road games at Alabama, Ole Miss and Texas as well as their showdown in Athens against Tennessee. Georgia also took home the SEC Championship against Texas about two weeks ago as well. So it was a safe assumption that Georgia would be heavily featured in this documentary as the champion of the conference.

That however will not be the case because it was reported that Georgia is one of five schools that opted out of being included in this documentary along with Alabama, Oklahoma, Ole Miss and Texas.
